This Privacy Policy explains how Quarks SRL handles personal data in connection with the quarks.be website. The site is a static website with no analytics, no trackers, no advertising, and no cookies set by us. The only point at which we collect personal data is the contact form.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

We collect personal data only when you choose to send us a message through the contact form. The fields are:

  • Name
  • Professional email address
  • Organisation (optional)
  • Message

We use this data for a single purpose: to receive, understand, and respond to your business inquiry. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Legal basis. Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in handling business-to-business inquiries and responding to professional contacts who reach out to us. Because the form addresses professional contacts in a B2B context, this is a proportionate basis; you may object to this processing at any time (see Section 5).

3. How the Contact Form Is Processed

The contact form is handled entirely on our own website hosting — we do not use any third-party form-processing service. When you submit it, a small server-side script running on quarks.be emails your message to our inbox at info@quarks.be.

The website and this form script are hosted by Hostinger on infrastructure located within the European Union, so your submission is processed in the EU rather than by an external processor abroad — it is not transferred to a third-party form service outside the European Economic Area.

We keep your message for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting correspondence, after which it is deleted. The form sets no cookies and does not track or profile you.

4. No Analytics, No Cookies, Self-Hosted Fonts

We have deliberately kept this site minimal and privacy-respecting:

  • The site sets no cookies of its own.
  • We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising or behavioural trackers.
  • All fonts are self-hosted — no fonts, scripts, or assets are loaded from third-party content-delivery networks that could observe your visit.

Because the site sets no cookies and uses no trackers, no consent banner is required to browse it. Your only personal data exchange with us happens if and when you submit the contact form.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
